Subdomains and Prerequisites

Rules Questions

So I was looking around on the Archives of Nethys when I ran into a feat called Spontaneous Nature's Ally and one of the prerequisites is that I need the Animal or Plant domain. My question is if I took the Feather or Growth subdomain would it still count or would I be s!+$ out of luck?

Well since Subdomains jut modify rather than outright replace I would say yes.

I would say they count for prereqs unless they replace an ability needed for the feat in question to work.

Subdomains:

No hedged language or table variation about it, subdomains definitely count as their parent domains for the purpose of meeting prerequisites and any other effects.

*nods*

Also this.

Ah, didn't see that. Thanks for that. I've been contemplating a Kami Cleric of sorts, a cleric that uses the Ring of Natural Attunement(Kami) to summon Kami. Good to know I can pick up the Growth Subdomain, the Plant Domain abilities are kind of crap.

Presto revivo, I've got another question regarding subdomains. This time it's the Divine Paragon archetype. Can I have Divine Paragon's ability that replaces one set of domain abilities affect a subdomain?

Why not? A subdomain is still a domain offered by your deity.
