An idea, RAW is murky on this so you should discuss with your GM first, is taking the bloodrager rather than sorcorer bloodline. The bloodrage powers should trigger of off your inspired rage song and will be a touch more useful for melee.

It wouldn't do you any good -- you do not have the Bloodrage class feature, so none of your Bloodrager bloodline powers would work.
Strictly RAW it does not work, bllodrage=rage for several purposes, class features is about the only one not listed, so inspired rage does not allow the use of bloodrage powers as it would rage powers from a spearate source. It seems thematically proper cor it to work and for skalds to take the bloodrager rather than sorcerer bloodline. So here in the advice forum, as opposed to the rules forum, I mention that it should be discussed with the GM.
