"Magical" and Unique Item Concepts...go!

"Song of Ten Stars", Codex of the First Solarion Order- Rare in the extreme, the Song of the Ten Stars represents the earliest collected thoughts of the original Stellar Knights. Though copies are known to exist in libraries and temples throughout the known universe, they are closely guarded by the most committed members of the Solarion Orders that possesses them.

"The Peacemaker", Prototype Dwarven Assault Rifle- Dwarves are well known for their love of firepower, one Dwarven weapon stands above the rest: "Peacemaker", the King's Gun. This mighty cannon was forged from the mithril that once formed the armor of King Baulder the Twice Saved and has been kept within the families of beloved Dwarven Warriors throughout the Bearded Empire for centuries. This rifle is said to possess the spirits of all who once wielded it and never misses if the foe is a slayer of dwarves.

"Witchfinger", Legendary Energy Sword - If you are a Solarion, then you have heard of Witchfinger. Wielded by great warriors throughout history, this glowing plasma blade has passed from hand to righteous hand until finally getting lost on Eox sometime in the past four hundred years. Rumors spread that the blade was destroyed during the skirmish over Altair Prime, still others claim that it was last seen in the care of an old junk dealer on Magnus IV. Regardless of it's ultimate destination, if it is found, Witchfinger will be a devastating arsenal to the personal arsenal of any warrior.

"The Heart of Nyurgushak," Orc Holy Relic- One of the few remaining orc relics from Golarion, this perpetually frozen heart of an orc warlord was rumored to have been destroyed in the Siege of Ymir Prime. However, it is rumored to have been seen in a small spacedock orbiting Thessol Omega.

"The Paradox Box," Unclassifiable Cuboid Anomaly- Found at the coordinates 32,11 on every desert planet orbiting a red dwarf star, this strange cube of turquoise energy is one of the most enigmatic discoveries the Starfinders have made. Anything that is put into it dissapears and reappears by another one of the anomalies on a different planet, much to the dismay of the explorer who stuck her hand in it. The cube also emits signals of two unknown wavelengths, one theoretically deadlier than a supernova, and one of too low a frequency to even exist.

"The Eternal Feather of Enlightened Truth", Holy Relic of Sheylyn- Thought the goddess of beauty's religion has waxed and waned since the fall of Absalom, one of her most holy relics is still floating around the universe. Known as the Eternal Feather, it is rumored to the last exiting piece of a now extinct species of bird once native to Golarion. Officially stored at the Temple of Endless Truth on Absalom Station, the genetic code for this lost bird species is said to utterly priceless to genetic engineers and cloners.

"Mechaworks 2000", Portable Robotics Lab- A masterwork of science and magic, the mighty Mechaworks 2000 was a prototype work table and lab that combined all the knowledge of Gero Gerano, the greatest Gnome Engineer to ever live, into a single portable device. According to Gerano, this suitcase kit was designed to contain every piece of equipment a roboticist and hacker could ever need. Sadly these devices never made it into full production (something about no one wanting to buy a kit that weighed 200 pounds) but a short run of prototype kits were sold in three lots of 5,000. Now the cases are prized collectibles that still somehow seem cutting edge.

"The Hand of Nyurgushak", Orc Holy Relic- When the last of the great Orc Lord's died, it was said that his heart and his hand were frozen so they might be passed among his people. Though his heart may have been lost to time, his Hand is easily located. Grvizzar, the last son of Nyurgushak's clan, encased the frozen hand inside adamantine and used it to create a sacred war hammer. It was this mighty weapon that lead the charge through occupied space for seven years and it was a rallying symbol for the Last Great Starhorde until it's tragic defeat on Ymir Prime. After that battle, the Hand of Nyurgushak was taken as a prize by the Starfinder Society and now hangs in the Grand Lodge's main hall. None know what would happen if the Heart and the Hand were ever to meet again after their two centuries apart but some have noticed that the Hand's fingers look like they once "clutched" some unknown object. Other "pieces" of Nyurgushak are rumored to exist as well. Texts speak of Eyes, Ears, Teeth, and Tongue also somewhere in the Galaxy.

"Methuselah", Intelligent Inter-dimensional Quantum Computer- Built during the height of the "Inter-dimensional State" craze that spread through the computing industry in the last century, Methuselah was perhaps the greatest achievement in personal computing in history. It was a living being that could think, emote, and compute at a rate far faster than any normal being. Originally his masters intended to mass produce the machine as a planetary defense computer, it was ultimately deemed defective after it failed to show the proper "killer instinct" required by a defense system (Methuselah himself claimed to be a pacifist). In the end, the system was never mass produced and the only existing prototype was relocated to an asteroid storage facility somewhere in deep space. It's assumed that Methuselah is still sitting there, waiting to be reactivated...

Ultraviolet Catastrophe: The surface of this object is perfectly dark, reflecting no light whatsoever. Shaped like a pyramid with a triangular base, it has four equidistant vertices which narrow sharply toward their tips. (It can be mathematically described as a hyperbolic tetrahedron with a radius of 6 inches from center to vortex).

Each vertex and edge is extremely sharp and will cause bleed even on the lightest of touches. Only the rounded surfaces of the object can be safely touched.

Vertices: 1d6 damage, crit 20/x3, bleed (1d3)
Edges:1d4 damage, crit 19-20/x2, bleed (1d2)

The interior space is hollow except for a studded, cylindrical, adamantine handle which allows the device to be safely held and carried. This grip also permits the artifact to be wielded as a melee weapon equivalent to a large-size starknife (e.g. one-handed for medium humanoids). If the wielder is not proficient in starknives, he or she risks self-harm trying to wield the item as a weapon. On an attack roll of natural 1, the wielder must make a Reflex save (DC 20) to avoid impaling themselves on the device.

The Ultraviolet Catastrophe is a bane against all forms of inorganic power sources. No power cell, fission reactor, fusion device, matter-antimatter reaction, or any other means of energy release short of organic metabolism or carbon-based thermo chemistry will function within 3 miles of the artifact, even unattended.

With concentration, the wielder can extend this range. As a full-round action, the user can make a manipulation check (d20 + character level + Cha modifier) against DC 30. Success means the effective range increases by tenfold for 24 hours. Consecutive successes are cumulative (3 miles -> 30 mi -> 300 mi -> 3,000 mi, etc). A failure means all the latent energy of the wielder is sucked out by the device, acting as a Disintegrate spell (CL 20th).

The Ultraviolet Catastrophe has the ability to absorb energy from terrestrial and meteorological phenomena. Itis well capable of extinguishing a supervolcano or cancelling out the power of a cyclone. If the artifact is sent into the core of a planet, it halts all geothermal and tectonic activity, and effectively eliminates any magnetic field. If thrown into a sun, the artifact suppresses all fusion in the core and causes the sun to explode into a supernova over the next 2d12 hours, leaving a black dwarf, cold neutronium, or cold quarkonium stellar remnant (or, if the star is large enough, it will collapse into a black hole). The artifact, meanwhile transports itself to a random location on the positive or negative energy plane (50/50 chance for either).

Bioelectronegativity Resonance Generator, Highly Theoretical Energy Manipulator- Not even the creator of this device fully knew how it worked. By somehow harnessing the energy within living beings, it was theoretically capable of creating an infinite amount of energy, provided a living being was nearby. However, the prototype was destroyed by the Bureau of Inevitable Affairs when they realized it could upset the balance of power in the system.

Desolation Miner: An ancient vessel made to mine resources from planets by tearing whole worlds apart and melting them down. It had an array of world rending saws, claws, and lasers around a giant cavernous chamber that pulls in debris by a tractor beam. It then sorts materials, melts them down, and sends them to an assembly line.

Neutronium Shell. This weapon contains a tiny core of neutron star matter surrounded by a shell loaded with equipment to counteract its mass and gravity. If launched at a target it releases the Neutronium core on contact. It was originally designed to destroy entire suns bu the sudden addition of mass triggering a supernova.
