Channel Spirit and Spirit Dancing

Looking at the Haunted Heroes Handbook and found the Channel Spirit feat, made me wonder at how this line works exactly:"you can’t use this feat and act as a vessel for a second spirit simultaneously"

While presumably normal Medium channeling has you acting as a vessel, does Spirit Dancing* also count as being used as a vessel or can they be used together?

My thought is that unlike a normal medium, Spirit Dancer doesnt seem to specifically say that you call a spirit actually into yourself, just that you gain abilities as if you had.
And if you dont have a spirit in you, then maybe you aren't acting as a 'vessel' and can use Channel Spirit.

Also any idea what the NPC statblock is like when it possesses you afterwords? Presumably it has its own skills/class levels.

Spirit Dancers still develop influence from their spirits and, "at 5 points of influence or higher, his current spirit takes control as it would for a normal medium". Ergo, they are clearly acting as a vessel for a spirit... they can just switch between different spirits quickly.

The trick here seems to be to find a way to dismiss your current spirit. So far I have found two methods:

1) In your morning prep, perform the séance for the Channel Spirit feat instead of your normal séance. This would be a crazy thing for a normal Medium to do, but it could make sense for a Spirit Dancer or Rivethun Channeler if he needs hours instead of rounds of access to one spirit.

2) After incurring 4 points of influence from your spirit, violate your taboo. This option does not work for Spirit Dancers, Rivethun Channelers, or any other archetype that replaces the Taboo class feature, but it would be the way for a normal Medium to change spirits.

Are there any other ways for a Medium to dismiss his current spirit?
