I've been listening to creepy stories recently,and one monster/cryptid that comes up a lot are the Skinwalkers, yet Pathfinder's own race is nothing like them. What do you think would be the closest monster from pathfindder to use that is close to the monstrous skinwalkers.
Here are some traits
They know when you talk about them
They transform into animals, but do it incorrectly (walking upright, mangled limbs, no tails, humanoid eyes)
They will hunt you down (unless you're blessed by Navajo protective things)
Weak to some sort of ash
method of hunting tends to be mimicry. They sound like either their victims or someone the victim knows and tries to lure them out into the woods alone. Like their appearance, there's something "wrong" with the voice.
Is there anything like this in Pathfinder already?
