I had a few questions about Aegis and general Psionics since there is a lot of random stuff about power stones and shards I don't fully understand.
1) As an Aegis,if I have Astral Skin with Brawn and another customization, then switch over to Astral Armor, do I have Brawn twice, or once? Astral Armor gets Brawn for free, but Brawn says I need to be level 5 before I can pick it up a second time.
2) Does improved damage do anything to unarmed strikes of gauntlet damage?
3) My power points for a 16 int character are 2.5 at Aegis level 1 and Aegis level 2. Is there anything other than the Harness Shard or Power Stone Repository that can I can use Power Points on as an Aegis/Non-psionics class.
4) Astral Skin says it works as Psychoactive Skins. Does this mean I get one of the skin bonuses? Can I have the Psychic Warrior in our party eventually add one of the skin bonuses to my Astral Skin?

1) you would have brawn twice. the free customization create an exception to the rule, if I correctly recall what the devs said.
2) yes, they would gain a +1 to damage (because they are light)
3) deep crystal weapons? or the Augment Suit class feature.
4) I don't quite understand what you mean, but psychoactive skins are an item.
EDIT: 4b) according to the rules for psychoactive skins, you can have 3 active at a time, so if you are using astral skin, you could have two other psychoactive skins on and functioning as well.
I would imagine that it is not intended for your psychic warrior friend to modify your astral skin (because Crystal Spaulders exist).

Thanks for the reply.
Augment suit class feature doesn't happen until 4th level. Deep Crystal weapons are neat though.
As for Psychoactive Skin, Astral Skin says it works as one. "An astral suit in this form does not count as any type of armor, but does count as a psychoactive skin and follows all the rules of a psychoactive skin."
I'm assuming that I can't have a Brawn and Hardy Astral Skin that is also a Skin of the Hero. Both effects can not be on the same skin and must be on one of the two different layers.

admittedly your astral suit can't be a skin of the hero anyway, so, you assumption is correct. though you CAN be using both at the same time if you have both.
