Kyra ability and cure cards

Hi guys,

i have a question about the class ability of cleric Kyra.

the ability printed on its card says that she is able to cure a character in the same location,

but

Kyra can cure herself ? or only another character ?

i have same doubt about the cure spell cards:

can they be used on who plays the card ? or only to another one ?

Kyra and the cure spell can both be "self targeting". They tell you to choose a character at your location. You yourself are a character at your location. There are and cards that make the distinction of saying "another character at your location". Check out Mass Cure for a comparison.

My understanding is that the self-targeting is exactly the reason why the process is "reveal a card, do the heal, then discard the revealed card" rather than just "discard a card with the divine trait". If she discarded a card, then healed herself, the discarded card could be shuffled back into her deck, potentially making the "cost" a shuffled-in card rather than a discarded card. The way it's worded, AFTER she heals, the Divine card is discarded, so there's always a cost.
