[PFS]Weapon focus (talon) on a human fighter?

Rules Questions

Eldritch Guardian archetype so my familiar shares my feats. I'd like my familiar to be able to use dazzling display. My research indicates I may be out of luck but I was hoping someone knew of a way to gain proficiency (if required) and weapon focus with a natural attack that I've missed.

Or a way for a familiar to gain weapon focus as a feat would work.

Thanks for your help.

Well, everyone can make an unarmed attack...

This seems to be the only way to make both you and the familiar qualify for Dazzling Display, however, the weapon focus will be going to Unarmed Attacks, which without Improved Unarmed Attacks, will provoke when attacking.

Since you don't really want your Familiar provoking any attacks at itself and you probably won't be going Unarmed Strike Fighter, this will likely end up being a feat tax.

Edit: The only way short of you growing talons or the familiar learning to wield a weapon.*

That...actually works extremely well. Feeling kinda dense for not seeing that.
As to feat tax, I knew it was going to cost me at least a feat, so just costing a feat is a discount on what it could have been.

Unless there is a dissenting view and my peacock can't use an unarmed strike, problem is solved.

Thanks

Just some disappointment in the enemies that are terrified by a peacock pantomiming a body slam.

expensive but a beastrike club would work

Natural weapon attacks are not unarmed strikes.

It doesn't need to use it's natural weapons to perform an unarmed strike.

Weapon Focus; Unarmed Strike and Martial Versatility

Your Familiar can now use Dazzling Display with Natural Weapons.

Does the bird have the ability to get feats it doesn't qualify for? That feat requires human.

At 2nd level, when the familiar can see and hear its master, it can use any combat feat possessed by the eldritch guardian. The familiar doesn't have to meet the feat's prerequisites

Mauler Familiar and combat feat we are good to go, but I think it's superfluous. I'm sure Axoren is right and a creature can make unarmed attacks, even if it has natural attacks it could use.

Not that this familiar will ever need to attack unarmed, it's just a vehicle for dazzling display.
