Does this work?

I choose Aasimar for my race, then select the alternate racial trait Scion of Humanity, gaining the type Humanoid(Human). Do I now meet the human prerequisite for the feat Racial Heritage, allowing me to choose half-elf and learn the spell Paragon Surge?
