Flurry of Blasts and Enervating Infusion

Advice

Pretty straight forward question, as I can't seem to find any stated rules on the matter, since the only requirement is that the target take damage, do multiple blasts inflict multiple negative levels?

Could I use this combo on a Havoker witch who also slings some Quickened Enervations around to cripple an enemy?

I'm not an expert on Kineticists at all, so feel free to poke a hole in this, but Flurry of blasts has this text

If you are using a substance infusion that requires a saving throw, a target attempts its save only once (even if it was hit multiple times), but it takes a penalty on the save equal to the number of times it was hit beyond the first.

So multiple rays hitting the same target would give them a penalty on the Fortitude save to negate, but would not have to save multiple times.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Jayder is correct, if the blasts all target 1 creature it gets one negative level; however, if you split the blasts up, you can put a negative level on each separate creature you hit.

I would treat it like the old 3.5 enervation meta-magic on a magic missile any single target only takes the negative level effect once but if you spread it out you can give multiple creatures negative levels. nothing official there just how i would do it.

What if you hit a creature with in subsequent rounds? Do the negative levels stack in that case?

What other spells/effects bestow negative levels aside from the obvious big 3?

Working on a pseudo-lich using the Lich Corruption in Horror Adventures, my recurring villain for this campaign who is going to be a Havoker witch for this encounter.

I'm pretty sure I can have multiple orbs out along with a mobile blast/enervating blast.
