Is it just me, or is class deck Sajan with a Kama (which is Basic) or a Kusarigama super strong? Right of the bat he gets to roll d10+d6+5 with these weapons, and with a skill feat and a power feat, which you get after playing only two scenarios with the guild rules, this rises to d10+d6+8, which is basically enough to defeat most monsters in the base set and AD1 without even rolling the dice. Is this right, are am I missing something here?

Looks right to me. Stabby Sajan is good at stabbing things, not so good at much else -- his non-combat utility is pretty much nonexistent. He's even worse than Seltyiel in that regard, at least Seltyiel had a decent shot at acquiring Arcane spells, Sajan can really only acquire armors and somewhat crappy weapons

Well, actually he is really good at slashing things. Stabbing not that much :)

I don't know, Acrobatics is really good for a certain number of barriers and he gets d10 +3 base for that.

Yeah, I called my CD Sajan a one-trick pony tonight, and the guys I play with said "No, you're smashing the barriers, and you always have blessings for us." He brings more to the table than just killing, although he's very good at that. We're at 2-3D in SotRu, and I think the only combat check I've failed this season was a really bad roll against a Warchanter, without weapons.

He does need healing, though. Even more than Seoni, I think. I'm looking forward to the resurrection power feat.

I savaged SotRi with my Class Deck Sajan and the Mythic Champion path. There were a LOT of combats I just didn't have to roll, especially once I took his Monk of the Four Winds role. By that time, I had four Skill Feats in Dex, so adding a d8 and an "element" to his slashing attacks, he was d10+d6+d8+11+Mythic Charges. Two power feats more, and he was adding another d6. At the end, with 6 Mythic charges, he could reveal the Kusarigama for d10+d6+d8+d6+17. With the Subtle Deerhorn Knife, any combat 25 and under, and he didn't need to roll.

Though, he had an amazing propensity to have either the Kama or Kusarigama in hand when he needed magic to defeat...
