So this appears to be a crowd control oriented class to me. I'm not entirely sure how to build him to fight though as I have very limited experience in pathfinder/d&d with only having played up to level 3 barbarian and level 12 Ninja.

I do not know whether to make the character melee, ranged, both, or how exactly to play him in combat.
The concept is that he is a very dark individual whose grandfather (my previous character) has become a ridiculously powerful possessed son of a b#*$# that he wants to seal away/defeat. He has since spent his life sifting through the darkness to learn techniques to help defeat his grandfather (who is a ninja and very hard to pinpoint).
Any tips on combat building would be greatly appreciated. Any flavor ideas are welcomed as well.
Note: I'm wanting to create an intimidate-oriented build.
