The bank recently sent me a new card. The only thing that's changed is that the new card has a new expiration date. Do I really have to add a new payment method, repeating all the information that's already there, just to change the expiration date?

If you are entering it online, it does need to be added as a new payment method.
We can also update the expiration date over the phone.
