I don't know the setting too much, but it is rarely a bad thing to own cold weather outfits. There are concerns about winters, as well as mountains. The latter is fairly common as part of the journey to some remote dungeon, temple, or wizard's tower.
I would carry an umbrella for the occasional blood rains I'd expect from a devil worshiping nation though.
At least in my experience, Cheliax has no notable weather conditions.
