Feats for a Witch Familiar

I understand that supposedly a witch can give his familiar feats by sacrificing hex slots. My questions are how exactly is that done, are there specific feats that are to be used and can familiars learn tricks as well?

Not exactly? With the beast-bonded archetype a witch can sacrifice their own feats to give the familiar feats. The archetype also loses the level 4, 8 & 10 hexes. The familiar still isn't going to be combat-effective with poor BAB and half the HP of a d6 HD caster, so you'd need to do something exotic to make it worthwhile.

Familiars don't get or need tricks, they're intelligent enough to be able to just do what you tell them.
