Retraining GM signoff

Scarab Sages 2/5

It has been a couple of months since I have been fully actively playing PFS. Recently, I received some information about having a GM to sign off on retraining.

What do I need to do to have it verified if I am unable to get in contact with the original GMs?

Any retraining needs to be recorded on your Chronicle. If you can't find the original GM, talk to your event coordinator or local Venture Officer.

I wouldn't worry about it, if you were going to cheat you would just have changed it.

I agree with BNW, there is a certain level of trust involved in organized play, and frankly putting those expenses on your chronicle sheet/ITS is the most important step (I also put them on the ITS for tracking purposes).

No real need to track down the GM or a VO. Just wait til you get to the next table you're playing the character at, inform them of the retraining that was done since the last chronicle was issued, and ask them to list it on the one they will be issuing you.

In the ~130 tables I've sat at, I've never seen a GM sign off on a retraining. (I've also never seen a GM sign off on purchases). As BNW and Sebastion This campaign is about trust, if you're going to cheat you're going to cheat and the most important thing is just writing it down for tracking purposes.

Weird. I have seen 80% of GMs at tables I've been to sign off on purchases. The other 20% are when games go long or are rushed such as at PaizoCon. Keep in mind I've been playing since Season 0.

They changed the rule when they came out with teh ITS (and then forgot that they changed the rule in the guide) Look at some of the newer sheets: they don't even have room to record purchases.

Maybe not purchases per se, but gold spent. Though now that you mention it that part doesn't require the initials, so I must revise my numbers above :p

James or I can sign off on it for you if you require it Vu.
