Okay wizard arcane bond says the weapon acquired at first level is not made of special materials. it goes on to explain details of the rules and the ability to replace a bonded item with another item.
1st question. Can I replace my initial bonded item with one made of special materials? For the costs listed, of course.
2nd question. Can I replace my intial bonded item, as above, but at first level? Is the idea that only a 2nd level or higher character can replace their item? Or are they just saying that the free item isn't made of special materials, but a replacement paid for could be, even in the later part of 1st level?
