I'm building a Fighter and I was planning to go for the Heavy Blades Group as my only weapon group, as it contains great melee weapons plus the Chakrams for a ranged weapon. However, as I was reading the Advanced Weapon training options I hit upon a question...
Does the Weapon Training bonus of Heavy Blades Group apply to a thrown Chakram or does it only apply when used as a melee weapon?
I see no reason it wouldn't apply to both melee and thrown weapons.
"Whenever he attacks with a weapon from this group, he gains a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls."
It never mentions it so I imagine it's safe to assume the bonus applies to both melee and ranged attacks.
