Totally agree although I'm not sure if you can classify a D8 HD 3/4 BAB class as martial.
But here's the rundown of what Teisatu adds over Ninja:
Pros
-Vigilant Talents over Ninja Tricks (Talents being superior)
-Access to (1) Monk Ki-Powers
-Better Saves
-Social Talents
Cons
-Less Skill points
-No access to master tricks
-One less Talent (less than Ninja Tricks)
-Sneak Attack (for a generic build it's prolly slightly better)
-Access to more Ninja Tricks
-Access to regular Rogue Talents
-Evasion + Uncanny Dodge
-Poison Use (yeah that's a class feature...)

I think teisatsu is really strong for a non-caster class( TY PAIZO) and you can build one in differente manner. Laso he can copntribute really also in out oif combat situations, is a good archetype.

Actually the Teisatsu still has the Stalker Specialization so they can still get Evasive (Evasion + improved Evsaion) and Stalker Sense (Uncanny Dodge and Improved Uncanny Dodge).
They can also get Hide in Plain Sight.
Guess I stand corrected. I doubt we will see many Taisatu's trading their very precious Vigilante Talent slots for Evasion or Uncanny Dodge however.
Hide in Plain Sight at level 8 is really sweet, not quite as sweet as swift action improved invisibility but sweet none the less.
I'm pretty sure the Taisatu won't be available for PFS. Whenever I was hyped for a new Archetype it was immediately hit with the ban hammer...

Oh that's easy enough to fix, just unhype yourself until it gets allowed :3
More seriously, yeah, while I wouldn't spend a Talent for UD (unless that campaign had a f&ton of Rogues), Evasion and Improved Evasion is VERY tempting, especially with good Reflex saves.
