Magical Knack & Scrolls!

Greeting!

I am a soon to be level 2 Sorcerer. I am wanting to buy and use level 2 sorcerer spell scrolls. Does Magical Knack allow me to cast these spells without a caster level check? If not, does the magical knack get added to my bonus when rolling the caster level check?

A post from 2009 about casting spells from scrolls I found while looking into this topic:

Magical knack gives you a 2 poimt bonus to caster level, however said bomus does not raise your caster level over your total hitdice. So if you are a single clsss sorcorer, it does nothing.

If Sorcerer 2 is all your character is, Magical Knack doesn't do anything, at all. What is it you think Magical Knack does for your character?

If you were a Sorceror 2/Fighter 2 with Magical Knack trying to activate a scroll with a caster level of 4, then you would count your own CL as 4 in this situation as well and activate it with no roll.

Follow up for my sake. Lets say one has has spell focus conjuration and varisian tattoo and one such person is a level 2 wizard. Would this person be able to buy level 2 spell scrolls in the conjuration school and use them with no caster check?

When you say "level 2 spell scrolls" do you mean that the spell level is 2 or that the caster level is 2?

Sczarni

A 3rd level "character" with 2 "class" levels in Wizard, who had taken Varisian Tatto to increase their "caster" level would be able to read a scroll with a 2nd level "spell" on it without needing a caster level check.

Yes, the word "level" is very much overused.
