This leads me to the question, which spell is dispelled if a wizard is hit with a successful Dispel Magic?

12th level wizards casts Extended Communal Protection from Energy and Life Bubble on himself. An enemy wizard hits this wizard with a Dispel Magic and successfully rolls the dispel check. Which spell is removed? Both were casted as 5th level spells? Or does the metamagic feat used not figure into spell level? Or would it be random because both spells are technically 5th level spells?

Thanks.

Metamagic typically only counts for spell slots (or levels in the case of storing items or spell level limits for potions and wands). Heighten spell is of course the exception. So you should take out the life bubble (as it is actually a fifth level spell).
