Hello ! So it's my first text there, and i'm a french guy... So apologize if my english is not that good.
I'm mastering the Council of Thieves in july. I'm working on it actually, and i've read several ppl to get a review on this campaign.
They are all agree that the CoT is not enough present at the start of the campaign and that Childrens of Westcrown are forgotten.
For the Childrens, i found something, but for the CoT... I don't have any ideas.
I've found on reddit: "For example, the party isn't aware of the existence of the main villain until the end of book 4 (I think), which is a glaring mistake, in my opinion. Read about the history of Drovenge family and try to incorporate them into the story, otherwise the villain becomes just some random dude they kill"
Do u have any ideas how to incorporate the Drovenge Family in the story sooner?
Thanks !

There are a couple of things I might suggest.

I did some stuff with them in my own. If I can muster the energy for one of my old lengthy posts, I'll lay some of it down. (I went pretty all-out with the NPCs, so it helped that they could blend in. If you're not doing the same, it might not be as useful.)
My favorite, though, was having an Abadaran priestess named Avahzi Serafian show up (around Book 2) to take over the city's moribund Bank of Abadar. As the city's new Archbanker, she helped the PCs securely store their funds and acquire loans.
