Hello all,

I find the idea of worked metal being in opposition with magic to be one of the worst ideas in fantasy, and as such, I would like to adjust the PF mechanics to remove that. The two main issues I ran into are:/


  • What is a good cost for cold iron weapons, if the +2000 gp on enhancements is removed?
  • What level of armour should druids be freely proficient in, if they can wear metal armour without penalty?

there are of course other details that need to be worked out, so feel free to comment on anything that would help.

1) same as alchemical silver, since all they will be good for is punching DR.

2) Medium armor. The only heavy 'natural' armor is dragonhide, and Druids basically have nothing that is penalized by ACP, anyways.
