We commission maps to the specific size that they will be printed. So if a map is going to printed as a half page or a full page, it will be designed at a resolution intended for that size. If our cartographers had to make all maps full resolution at 1":5' scale, we'd have to have literally hundreds of square feet of maps in some AP volumes, and that would take the cartographers so much longer that we couldn't have all the maps in an AP done by the same person... and it would also cost us a whole lot more.

If you need 1"=5' Scaled maps just ask
There are several of us who make them ..
This topic keeps coming up, but until now I haven't seen any volunteers. There would probably need to be a formal business arrangement, but if you are willing to do it at a price and speed that Paizo can afford and won't affect shipping time I would email Vic.
Another option is to see if you can get licensed to reproduce the maps.PS: I don't work for Paizo.

I have Maps on the Forums I have re-created using Campaign Cartographer 3..
I know another Forum Member who uses Dundjinni to make Scaled Battle Maps..
We have approached them about making Maps several times...We have been told we can do them on a Volunteer Basis and we can take Donations how ever we can't create the Maps and Sell them for a set price. Say on Paizo or DrivethruRPG for say $5.00 a Set.
There is no need for Shipping since they are in Digital Forum and a Person If they wanted to, could take them down and have them printed or do like I do Simply Digitally Display them on a TV or on Computer Screen. I made most of my Maps at 72 DPI which works perfect on a VTT like Roll20

What the community could use is a decent centralized site to host/index user-created goods. Somewhere we could visit to select "maps", or "monster conversions" or "magic items" or "house rules", and drill down to see specific/generic APs/adventures they apply to. Or go the other way and search for what resources exist for a given adventure.
That could have contact info for donations/support etc.
The spread of stuff on these forums, linked to offsite materials was fine, years ago.
Sadly, I am not a web developer.

d20pfsrd.com would probably let us put it on their site. I will ask. The worse they can do is say no.

On the upside, it's a highly visited site. On the downside, it's an increasingly cluttered site. On the gripping hand, it's a for-profit site, so that would likey mean fan-materials would have to have their serial numbers filed off.
Frankly, archivesofnethys is probably a better fit, if a dedicated PathinderFanStuff site doesn't ever happen.

I thought about Nethys, but I don't have a way to contact him outside of a PM.

Fortunately, the God-King of Magic maintains a Facebook page where you might send a missive. :D

I just did the Dragon's Demand Kobold Lair Maps in a day. You can see them here for Now. https://www.cartographersguild.com/showthread.php?t=36074&p=319817#post 319817. Turnaround would depend on the Compexity of the Originals and how detailed you want them. I have done some just structural details.
I plan on doing a No Grid version and also 300 DPI versions for printing out if someone wants to.
Well I would like a Million for each map...but seeing as my Originals on DrivethroughRPG are averaging nothing. ( Ain't made my first paycheck of $50 yet) almost 1 year selling now overthere..I ain't gonna ask for a particular donation..One group made 2 $50 donations on sets of Map.

I don't have any maps I need done right now, but just in case I do or someone else does later what is the turnaround time, and the "donation" that would be appreciated?
Can't really say what Kinda Turn around Time would be.
Depends on the Complexity of the Original Map and What I have going on in real life at the time..
like your Map Request, Was that Fast Enough :)
