Books and Music to Inspire Players and GMs?

General Discussion

What books and music, should we read and listen to help inspire and get a feeling of what kind of game Starfinder will be?

Tangent: Will Starfinder be supported on Hero Lab?

If you want to get weird, there is a comic called Saga.

For those who like a more spiritual sci fi... might I suggest trying Enya and Clannad?

Then of course we have Holst The Planets and Wagner The Ride of the Valkyrie.

And don't forget the amazing 2001 A Space Odyssey and related.

Oh yes, Saga is my go to example of good Space Fantasy and i really expect, knowingly or not, that Starfinder will have a lot in common with it. High tech and magic on equal but different footing, a whole galaxy at war with fleets, armies and personal duels going on everywhere. what ever the rules give us, Saga will give you more ideas for things to add in to your game.
