So one of my groups is going to be doing a one "shot" game that is going to be a old west setting. Rules are any non 3rd party race and class allowed. Advanced firearms and they are common. The party is going be the town Sheriff and deputies at 7th level. I don't think we are going to level so build should reflect that.
I basically don't want be a gunslinger but want make something that fits the setting and will be fun to play. Does not need to be super optimize but effective in combat and have a fun idea it is build around.
Just looking for people to throw out some fun ideas. I don't need full builds I can do that myself.
I think the Constable archetype for the Cavalier would be fun for this.

Mesmerist as a snake oil salesman.
Alchemist that gets drunk off of his mutagen and extracts, snatch up Catch-off Guard and use the surroundings to pummel foes.
Native American (or the equivalent to in this world) Druid.
Female Bard made up to be an aspiring Cancan Dancer / Western Show star.
One of the mage classes that uses the harrow deck / deck of cards as weapons (cartomancer witch, card caster magus), via professional gambler addicted to their craft.
Pious, yet brutal priest via warpriest or inquisitor.
Alchemist focusing on grenades, flavoring them as dynamite and nitroglycerin.
Mysterious Avenger Swashbuckler, focusing on whip and sword via Zorro.
Slayer bounty hunter that uses things other than firearms.
Young Man that's a spiritualist, their spirit is their father who was murdered in front of their eyes over something trivial and they want revenge.
I think the Constable archetype for the Cavalier would be fun for this.
This would be good for the Sheriff. You get a badge at 5th level.

All good ideas keep it up. Remember we are the Law of the town (Sheriff and deputies) I don't mind using a gun just don't want to be a gunslinger.

Third Mind has great ideas.
- The Wanderer. Native American style Hunter with a Coyote (wolf) or Auroch (Buffalo) and a bow and handaxe. There are some Shoanti warpaints and magical tribal tattoos which might help.
- Old Bill Hearst. Grizzled Prospector. Dwarf Alchemist, always looking for that gold, flavour his bombs as mineshaft detonators. Spits tobacco.
- Big Albert, the prizefighter. An itinerant boxer (Brawler) who comes to town with the circus. Handlebar moustache, possibly Irish or German.
- Calamity Jane (Doris Day version, not Deadwood). whip using Bard, singing to Inspire. Hot dang!
