Not really a question, but the desire for non-verbal communication seems to come up a lot. Found this trait in the Monster Summoner's Handbook:

Quote:

Expressive Pantomime

Category Basic (Social)
You have learned to express yourself without having to depend on words. When attempting a Bluff check to deliver a secret message, you can take a –5 penalty on the check to communicate a simple message even to creatures that do not share a language with you. You cannot communicate with mindless creatures.

This is PFS legal.

Thanks, it really doesn't fill the need or desire most of us with deaf characters are looking for, but it's there.

A -5 penalty and having to invest in a skill (that as a paladin I'm never otherwise using) seems a bit ridiculous. The 7 INT Ulfen barabarian can express herself just fine in not 1 but two languages.

If I remember correctly, The pathfinder society teaches all of it's members a secret cant for communicating. Like thieve's cant, it's based of of word emphasis and body language. Don't remember what book its from though, maybe Seeker of Secrets.

Shadow Lodge 4/5

That's canon, yeah. It's also more like military hand signals than sign.

Yep, I know about that trait. I even thought about taking it, even though it would have to mean that I (a paladin) would be maxing bluff skill.

All I want is a sign language. Feel free to sign my petition if you would like one, too!

There's been some concern about abuse potential, but honestly, I think all it would so is add beauty and richness to the Golarian world.

Hmm
