Spinning his rifle around in circles like a cheerleaders baton, Fixit moves away from the robot before setting himself. His fingers play over the weapon which flashes red and lets loose a focused stream of fire.

Hoping to hold the enemy's attention, the vet clicks the flame on her ember flame doshko and closes the gap between them. Her frilly dress spins and swirls as she races across the stage. She swings, hoping to catch the 'construct' off-guard.
Doshko vs KAC (fire): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 181d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Coordinated Shot: When Archaius is threatening a foe with a melee weapon, any ally with line of sight to that foe without Archaius granting the foe cover gains a +1 bonus to ranged attack rolls against the foe.

The hesper Sakharov cheers loudly, "Love the new look Sefel!"
The two operatives blast the hologram mecha hard, confusing it. Unfortunately the other party members aim is poor enough it doesn't help.
The pink mech takes a step over towards the Starfinders in the corner of the stage and takes a swipe at Vixi with its massive plasma sword.
Off-Target Attack vs EAC: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
Fire Damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (1, 3) + 12 = 16

Saku Saku Sing Along!
CAPTAIN✶CARMINE’s catchy chorus prompts the entire audience to join in.
Once per round, until the end of the round, PCs can spend a move action to regain 2d6 Stamina Points. A PC wearing a visual kei costume can spend a move action to regain 3d6 Stamina Points instead.
Round 1/2. Everyone is up but Chivix is still under the effect of the Purple Stardust instead of Saku Saku Sing Along.
Vixi - 16 damage
Archaius
Sefel
Fixit
Osuro
Smov - 36 Damage
Chivix

"Gravy, acquire target. It's time to dance!"
Chivix spun into a graceful arc kicked his heels up, and spun again. At least that's what he tried to do. From the floor it probably looked more like someone trying to flap their arms like a bird while turning in slow circles. Still, he aligned his rifle on the giant pink mech and pressed the stud that overcharged his laser. With a burst of heat, the laser flared, striking the target.

Vixi twists aside from the worst of the blow, but a line of sweat still carves its way through her makeup.
Still, with a well-practiced smile gleaming on her face she dives and twists up and over another sweep of the sword, disappearing in a flare of stagelights, before reappearing gun in hand just out of reach of the mech.
Stealthy Trick: 1d20 + 18 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 18 + 1 = 23 Using Uncanny Mobility to not provoke due to movement

Acid + Trick: 1d10 + 2 + 3d8 ⇒ (1) + 2 + (4, 7, 2) = 16 And Flat-Footed... if somehow that Mech is only CR 3...
Probably just 3 damage.

Fixit’s rifle begins to shimmer in waves of black and red. A huge targeting circle bigger than the Ysoki appears in mid air and shrinks down a perfect size to fit on the mech’s chest.

This time Osuro moves across the floor with a couple of quick forward somersaults, letting the kimono move as it will during her effort. As she come up into her final position, she looses another burst of acid from her pistol, cackling like a witch from the old stories.
Technically, I don't think an operative can use acrobatics to tumble as the movement during a trick attack, but I'm not after a mechanical benefit here, just the nifty look, so . . ..

The holographic computer code takes a little bit more damage, though Fixit and Archaius missed again, then looks around at how spread out the Starfinders are and seems frustrated. It moves a little closer to Sefel and Chivix and then transforms into a pink tank!

Um, I understand missing with an 18, but if an attack roll of 26 vs KAC misses, I will only hit this on a natural 20
But the EAC seems a much easier target. It has strengths and weaknesses. Melee is apparently a big strength for it. The pregen has an EAC attack option, doesn't it? Heck, even if it doesn't, giving basically everybody a +1 attack with their ranged weapons is still a positive contribution!

![]() |

@Archaius - It is possible he misread your attack line, seeing only the 13 at the end. I've done that before as a GM. Try splitting the attack and damage rolls into separate lines. It makes it clearer to the GM
Chivix ducked away from the big tank, kicking his legs high to make his skirts flare out, then firing again. This time, his maneuvers caught him off balance and the shot went wide, splashing against the force-field around the stage.

Liking the spread around the stage, Osuro chooses not to run about this time, but she holds the kimono sleeves out between herself and the audience, ducking down behind them. Then she stands, slowly, allowing the mask and body of the kimono to be revealed from behind the flickering flames, ad she vocalizes screams of agony . . .. Straightening her arms and firing only after reaching her tip-toes.

The brightly colored tank collapses into individual metal plates and then dissolves into pink dust that artfully blows away. The music suddenly stops, and the lights on the stage go dark. Just as the crowd begins to murmur among themselves, the lights reappear on the stage—in the form of life-sized holograms depicting Zigvigix’s missing friends.
"Hello, everyone!” CAPTAIN✶CARMINE’s voice calls out, prompting a deafening roar from the crowd. “Hello, Songbird Station! Hello, everyone watching! We love all of you!”
“Today, we found out we had some fans who didn’t make it here because of a tragedy,” the lead singer continues, causing the audience to quiet down. “These brave Starfinders were lost in the Scoured Stars system a few months ago. Their friend brought their holograms here so they could still be with us today. So, I want you to get ready to cheer for them! Cheer so loudly that they can hear us, even out in the Scoured Stars! Let’s let them know we love them!” At that, the crowd erupts into an even more deafening roar, with people from every corner of the Pact Worlds, the Veskarium, and beyond yelling at the top of their voices.
“That’s right!” CAPTAIN✶CARMINE cuts through the screaming cheers. “Everyone, get ready to cheer one more time! Because not only are the missing Starfinders with us here in spirit, their friends are here with us in the flesh as well, and they just saved our concert and Songbird Station! Everyone, give it up for the Starfinder Society!”
At CAPTAIN✶CARMINE’s exclamation, the stage spotlights come back on, illuminating each of you as the crowd gives a wild ovation. After a moment of shining on all of you at once the spotlights converge on each of you in turn.
You each get about 1 minute of time to give a personal shout out to the crowd, and to anyone who watches the concert on a rebroadcast. This is basically the end of the scenario. Nice work! After you give your speeches I will post the wrap up and I'll work on chronicles here shortly. I don't know how long it will take me but not too long.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

When the light settles on Sefel, he suddenly becomes suprised, and immediately after self-conscious. His antennae stand on end.
Oh! hmm..
Not knowing what else to do he decides to do a hand-miming slide move that may give him an excuse to depart from the light and end the attention on him...
When the light follows him persistently he finally gives up, and starts talking until those controlling the light give up on his babbling.
Hi, I'm Sefel, an out-of-work software engineer taking Starfinder missions while I try to get a new job. I'm glad we could help save your concern from utter doom. Um, if you could give your parents my name, maybe one of them has a job for me. Kthxbai.
The proverbial hook pulls him from the light as an epidemic of glazed-over eyes spreads throughout the audience.

Vixi expertly steps forward into her light, quickly dismissing her holo costume and activating her Subdermal Society Implant, so that if the spotlight's on her, it'll be in her own brand.
"Alllriiiight Songbirds! The one and only Vixi Trixen here - not to plug my latest award winning album 'Vixi with a T', but here to honor the courage and sacrifice of our lost agents, and to make sure that all you brave souls out here get to enjoy all the wonder and happiness that every one of us deserve to be a part of!
"We're still fighting to bring our friends home, and if you have any interest in helping us out, whether with information or generous donations, we've got lodges on every major planet and station. Okay - Good night and enjoy Sttrrrraaaawwbberrry Machine Cake!"

![]() |

As Vixi begins talking, Fixit uses her as a distraction and quickly skips away off the stage out of the limelight.

The actress also drops the holo projection activates her implant. She starts, standing with her head slightly bowed, hands held together below her waist, trusting to her augmentations and the stage's sound system, to make her heard.
"Today, we were fortunate. Lives were saved. Sometimes, the goals of exploration and learning lead to loss, instead. The Scoured Stars was, sadly, one of the latter." She shifts her position, slightly, lifting her gaze just past neutral, looking slightly up. "We wish to remember those who have been lost, but we also wish to honor them. The best way to honor someone who has given their life for a goal, is to work towards that goal ourselves."
She stands with her legs about shoulder width apart, arms spread to the crowd. "Explore. Learn. Document. Share. This is what they were trying to do. Find a way, join us in our efforts to understand our universe!" She flicks her left index finger towards the lighting team, hoping they will take the cue and move the spotlight on without a delay.

![]() |

The vesk looks out to the crowd. She has never been the center of attention before. Her head swivels back and forth, seeking out the vesk she ran into earlier. She holds her weapon aloft. "Who I am does not matter. That is how I...my people were raised for millennia. Warriors bred for war, to fight...to kill. Where I was raised had no individuality, no self, only the constant preparation for combat."
"There was nothing else."
"But, through this bleak landscape, I head a sound, a single note. The fog of war was parted. With the help of my allies in the Starfinders, I was able to seek out the source. For the first time, I knew MUSIC! Not just any music, but a band with the power to change hearts and minds. Indeed, they have changed my life. I AM ARCHAIUS MAELSTROM! AND I FOUND LIFE AND LOVE WITHIN THE MAGICAL NOTES OF SUGAR HEART LOVE!!!
The thrusts his arms up in triumph before sprinting forward and leaping into a spread-eagle stage dive.

GM Egg |

And with that you are all ushered off stage. You are able to watch the rest of the concert either in the audience or from backstage - assuming you can dodge the reporters trying for interviews, though you may prefer to indulge them.
Shortly after the show is over a conveyer robot approaches you with a message that SMC hates that they can't speak with you personally but they are very busy. The robot offers the band's thanks with a small box of band paraphernalia.
The stash contains a set of elite stationwear armor (emblazoned with a massive strawberry), a glamered fusion seal (7th), four screamer grenades I, and a thunderstrike sonic rifle made to resemble Bone’s koto.
As you make your way out of the concert building the party is ambushed by a very excited Zigvigix. "That was awesome! The big robot was all 'I'm gonna crush you' but you guys were like 'nuh uh'. Then it turned into a tank and you guys were like 'yeah, big deal' and blasted it. Soooo cool."
Historia-7 stands nearby with a small smile for Ziggy and the party. She is pleased with the outcome but seems more somber than the Exo-Guardians leader. Probably because of the revelations about the conspiracy and the strange nature of the alien virus. The pair leads you away to Ziggy's ship.
The silence of space lies in stark contrast to the clamor of the concert, and the starry void outside of the starship’s viewscreens is even more striking when compared to the brightpink lights of the quickly vanishing Songbird Station. Historia-7 seems relieved by the respite from the noise and chaos, using the quiet to concentrate on streams of information on her computer. Even Zigvigix seems happy to be away from the crowd. “Today has been a productive day for you, hasn’t it!” the shirren says, still hopelessly excited by recent events, despite their clear exhaustion. “Uncovering conspiracies, fighting alien technology, and saving Songbird Station. I’m not sure how either you or the band are going to be able to top that next time! But I have faith that you can do it. Good luck!
“You know...” Zigvigix continues, their psychic voice turning soft. “I haven’t felt this way in a long time.” The shirren stands to return to the piloting console, turning only for a moment to add, “Hey, Historia-7, get some rest,” before they depart.
As you fly home those of you who traded in your copy of Star Sugar Heartlove!!! get a digital message from someone named Burgundy Bear, a thank you for trading. Apparently that's the name the collector went by though it seems it is probably a cover name since there is a footer to the message. The footer indicated the message was sent from the Pact Worlds' embassy in the Vekarium and BurgandyBear was likely hiding the fact that they were a part of such a prestigious political office while at the concert. The message also includes reply information allowing you to continue this relationship with this eccentric collector.
And that is it. Congrats! I'll have chronicles out soon.
