PFS Aasimar Boon + Swashbuckler -- Ideas for archetypes or multiclass?

Advice

Grand Lodge

BACKGROUND

Tomorrow, the table that I am GMing will likely fall through, as only one person is signed up. The only other table with openings is level 1-2 of Emerald Spire, which means that I need to come up with a level 1 character to play. I've done a ton of bards, one oracle and an oradin. It's time to try something else, like a martial.

HERITAGES

So I was thinking of doing a swashbuckler with my shiny new aasimar boon. Although a muse-touched azata seems like an obvious fit, I also think that the peri-blooded aasimar looks like fun. Am I gimping myself too much if I go peri?

ARCHETYPES

I love the vanilla swashbuckler, but the inspired blade looks interesting as well, and it could justify a Peri. Will I run into difficulties recovering panache if I can only get panache back on critical hits?

MULTICLASSING

After the first five levels of swashbuckler, I don't see much that I want out of the class. What interesting multiclasses have you tried? What have you found fun and interesting?

Hmm

My Kitsune Swashbuckler is running with the Freebooter Ranger Archetype.
The ability to point out an enemy so everyone attacking that enemy gets a +1 Att/Dmg rolls against that enemy is a very support friendly ability. And the communal "+2 to flanking" ability at 4th is nice as well.

As a Ranger, you get some bonus Combat Style feats.

Liberty's Edge

I'd definitely go with either the Noble Fencer Archetype or go Cavalier (Daring Champion). Standard Swashbuckler saves are...not great. Both of those do a bit better.

Inspired Blade and Noble Fencer stack, and would be a perfectly valid combination (and IME the extra Panache makes up for the lower regain rate in most situations), and it gives you the ability to get Fencing Grace at level 1.

Trading Dex for Int is a bad bargain mechanically, though. It'll work, mind you, but it'll be less than ideal.

As for a class to go with after 5th...I wouldn't. Stacking your level on damage just gets cooler and cooler, and few things make up for it. The only exception I can think of is Paladin, in which case you should go Swashbuckler 1/Paladin 2/Swashbuckler 4/Paladin 2 and take the remaining levels in whichever you like, really.
