I'm creating an NPC character that is a 10th level combination of Gunslinger, Swashbuckler, and Sleuth Investigator. The character happened to fit a concept that worked with a combo or Gunslinger and Sleuth Invesitgator, at which point I decided to play around with a concept that combined the Grit, Panache, and Luck pools.
What would be a recommended combo of the three classes if I'm looking at ten levels total?

For that combo, be sure to check out the Inspired Blade swashbuckler archetype. You'll be getting Int, Wis, and 2x Cha for your pool.
Most of the guides recommend taking no more than 5 levels of Gunslinger. You can take 4 levels of Investigator and only be behind on your BAB by 1. Then you can take Swashbuckler for the rest of your career and have nearly a full BAB progression.

That depends on which parts of each class you're interested in.
The original concept is Cookie from Empire as a Tiefling bounty hunter / Mrs. Fix-It that is tracking down a Divine Engineer (custom class) that is killing tieflings (including some of her children) as part of an experiment to weaponize dead devils.
(The sentences one writes as a GM in a role playing game...)
So the original combo was Sleuth Investigator (the detective side is capable of tracking down the big bad, who is working WITH the PCs at the moment) and Gunslinger (the specific image in my head is her throwing off a Hat of Disguise and two-gun unloading on the Big Bad... who will happen to be protected by the PCs at that moment). The Swashbuckler side came in with thinking about having a more flamboyant "fighting style".
The group I play with is fairly unoptimized, so I'm really much more thinking about "cool cinematic combinations of things" rather than something that is meant to be the most mechanically effective. Dare I say being unoptimized actually works with the PCs here, as the main focus is dealing with "having a job" (protect the big bad) vs "doing what's right" (helping the person avenging a bunch of dead innocents).
