Would a medium creature using either gaseous form or wind walk be able to move into wind? The gaseous form spell indicates it succeeds with all fly checks, but still subject to the effects of wind. In a windstorm, medium creatures are required to make a fly check at -8 or be unable to move forward? Or only subject to the "blown away" with hurricane winds?
Looking at fog cloud, which is similar IMO, wouldn't be able to form in a windstorm.

A gaseous creature can't run, but it can fly at a speed of 10 feet
Normally, a wind walker flies at a speed of 10 feet with perfect maneuverability. If desired by the subject, a magical wind wafts a wind walker along at up to 600 feet per round (60 mph) with poor maneuverability.
Wind Force .. Wind Speed
Light .. 0–10 mph
Moderate .. 11–20 mph
Strong .. 21–30 mph
Severe .. 31–50 mph
Windstorm .. 51–74 mph
Hurricane .. 75–174 mph
Tornado .. 175–300 mph
A character with a speed of 30' can travel 24 miles in 8 hours. That is at 3 mph.
Both spells give you a speed of 10 feet. This is equivalent to 1 mph. Running can double this to 2 mph.
So nearly any wind will overpower your ability to move. I.e. you are at the mercy of the wind.
Except if you invoke the wind walk's own wind. That gives you forward motion against any wind of less than 60 mph. So it is best to avoid windstorms, hurricanes, and tornadoes unless you want to go the same place.
