i'd go with a slayer, make him a Weretiger-Kin skinwalker too that will give him:
Ability Modifiers +2 Dexterity, –2 Wisdom (+2 Charisma while shapechanged)
Alternate Skill Modifiers Acrobatics, Perception
Alternate Spell-Like Ability jump 1/day
and - See in darkness when he's changed.
their flavor text also kinda hit the spot:
" these skinwalkers are notorious for their fickle attitudes."
ether that or make him a tiefling with the 'Pass for Human' alt racial ability and take the fiend sight feat twice to gain see in darkness.
or maybe a Caligni

The slayer makes a better assassin than the prestige class assassin. Taking levels in assassin is actually going to weaken the character instead of making it stronger. The slayer is a full BAB class with two good saves and 6 skill points per level vs the assassins medium BAB with only one good save and 4 skill points per level. Gaining more slayer talents especially advanced talents can be more beneficial than the abilities of the assassin.
If you want to build a brutal skilled killer, the slayer is the way to do it. The combination of full BAB and proficiency in martial weapons give it the combat ability on par with that of a fighter. Add in studied strike and sneak attack makes them one of the best classes at taking something if they manage to catch their target while unprepared.

I'd use shadow piercings (eyes) for Riddick
Hmm... Bit of a spoiler but ...
