Brawler's Awesome Blow

Advice

Hello! I've been playing a Brawler for a while in a home made campaign and now I'm about to hit level 16... So I'm trying to improve the awesome blow chance of success.

I really like the concept of the brawler's "awesome blow" class feature but, taking into account what I've seen, heard and read until now, all combat maneuvers are very hard (if not almost impossible) if there is no real invest on them...

Until now I've just found Improved Awesome Blow but I fear that won't be enought...

- There exist any other feat (or feats) that enhace the maneuver? How are they called?

Thanks in advance for giving your time.
And finally sorry for my, almost sure, typos and misspelling.

Well if you haven't already, get a Dusty Rose Prism Ioun Stone and stick it in a Wayfinder for a +2 to ALL combat maneuvers.

The Lore Warden also gets a +2 to all combat maneuvers at certain levels starting at 3rd.

But you're basically running into the problem everyone from the playtest said would be a problem.

It's pretty much a useless ability since everything level 16 and up has humongous CMD.

At level 16 CMDs will exceed your CMB by rather a lot without anything else adding to it, yes. Dirty Fighting is the only other feat I can think of which gives a direct bonus. Feats aren't the only bonus you can get though. Look for any attack bonus you can find, turn invisible if you can, try to make your character as large as possible.

The downside of the Awesome Blow combat maneuver is that you miss out on performing a full attack (until level 20, anyway), and while you render the enemy prone they're probably outside your reach so there's no AoO when they stand up. It may not be worth investing heavily in it.

Then I gess I will forgot about that class feature like I forgot about Knockout (?) (I've ignored it that much that I'm not sure about the name hahaha).

Thank you all for your prompt reply and your help!
