Are creatures that are immune to paralysis, such as dragons, able to be paralyzed?
The way I see it is that paralysis specifically refers to the Universal Monster Ability / Special Attack which can paralyze creatures hit with a natural attack, such as that used by Ghouls.
I don't think it applies to the more general paralyzed condition, such as that caused by Hold Monster.
Is there any RAW to support one way or the other? Forums posts by developers would also be appreciated.

Immunity to paralysis is immunity to all instances of paralysis. There are no clarifications as the rules are meant to be read as plain language unless otherwise specified.
Immunity (Ex or Su) A creature with immunities takes no damage from listed sources. Immunities can also apply to afflictions, conditions, spells (based on school, level, or save type), and other effects. A creature that is immune does not suffer from these effects, or any secondary effects that are triggered due to an immune effect.

Immunity to magic sleep effects and paralysis effects.
Note that it does not say immune to Paralysis. It says it is immune to paralysis effects plural.
Also if your reading were correct then Remove Paralysis would only work against the Paralysis(Ex or Su).
Immunity to paralysis prevents the paralyzed condition from any source. That is perfectly clear and requires no clarification as TriOmegaZero points out.
