Shield Slam and Improved / Greater Bull Rush interaction

Rules Questions

Shield Slam let's you make a bull rush attack substituting your attack roll for the combat maneuver check.
The bull rush feat line gives you +2 bonus to checks (not explicitly combat maneuver checks) to bull rush.
Does that mean it also gives the same bonus to Shield Slam bull rushes?

Shield Slam uses the result of your attack roll. After you compare it to AC, you don't modify it further. Greater Bull Rush is still useful for the other effects.

True.

I'm not so sure. Look at the Improved Bull Rush Feat again.

The Attack and the Combat Maneuver are the same roll, but that does not mean you can't apply a bonus to one thing and not the other. The Attack roll is a check to bull rush the foe, and IBR says you get a +2 on it. IBR doesn't say you get a +2 on Combat Maneuver Check Rolls made as a Standard Action, it just says, "+2 bonus on checks made to bull rush a foe."

That it is! I really like the idea of getting Paired Opportunist vis 1-3 levels in Warpriest, Cavalier, or Inquisitor so that you get the Attack of Opportunity along with all your buddies from Greater Bull Rush. The awesome thing is that your attack of opportunity could be another Shield Slam accompanying another round of AoO's, yours being another Shield Slam, looping Attacks of Opportunity for as long as your Combat Reflexes holds out!
