Hey all! Another theorycrafting question for you all. So, there's a good chance that my DM is going to let me roll up a PC Ogre (likely a modified version of http://www.d20pfsrd.com/races/other-races/more-races/monstrous-races-21-30- rp/ogre-23-rp , so large size and with reach), and I'd like very much to keep in character by building him as an unarmed/improvised weapon user, with a particular knack for grappling and just manhandling things to death.
Ideally, some amount of Barbarian would be preferred, multiclassing is fine, but no caster classes. Maximum optimization is not necessary, and indeed, flavor is more important to me, as long as the character functions. I am not making an ogre to powergame, I'm making one because I like ogres, so not actively ruining everyone else's game by soloing it is a good thing.

Seems like Brutal Pugilist Barbarian is what you're after. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/archetypes/paizo---b arbarian-archetypes/brutal-pugilist
It's a Barbarian that gets some help with grappling. You're probably using Animal Fury and Beast Totem for natural attacks (and pounce!)
Alternatively, a Brawler is even better at grappling, and at high levels his unarmed strike damage dice are just silly. No rage though. I think Mutagenic Mauler could be fun for this, depending on how you feel about the alchemical flavor.

Brutal pugilist sounds cool, but i would take untamed rager from dirty tactics toolbox for the 2 free dirty trick and greater dirty trick feats as well as some other boni for that. Sounds a mighty lot like manhandling to me^^
For the unarmed fighting, just grab improved unarmed strike and the brawler rage power. Don´t forget the brawling property on your armor once you can afford that!
I would also go unchained barbarian.
Monk + barbarian is a problem though because of the alignment restrictions.

The Martial Artist monk has no alignment restriction "The martial artist pursues a mastery of pure martial arts without the monastic traditions. He is a master of form, but lacks the ability to harness his ki.
Alignment: A martial artist may be of any alignment." along with that you get "Extreme Endurance (Ex)
At 5th level, a martial artist gains immunity to fatigue. At 10th level, he also gains immunity to exhaustion. At 15th level, he gains immunity to stunning. At 20th level, he gains immunity to death effects and energy drain.
This ability replaces purity of body, diamond body, and perfect self."
