I got a Halfling Cavalier/Bard character for the battle herald prestige class. Is there a way to level up my mount? The way I am looking at my mount has a crap hit points because it a level 1 mount.
1) Take 4 levels of cavalier and the horse master feat, or
2) Take the boon companion feat and just accept that your mount will become obsolete one day, or
3) Take an archetype of cavalier which loses the mount and take the nature soul, animal ally and probably the boon companion feats too.
Otherwise you're looking at doing without the mount one way or another. Which may be for the best if you want to spend your feats elsewhere, mounted combat can suck up all the feats you can imagine.

Boon companion is a good feat. I gives me a +4 bonus levels to my companion up to my level. I am only taking a 4 level dip so that will deal with that problem. Thanks.
