So reading Delvahines section in the Anniversary edition, I noticed that it mentions that she may be disappointed if her "lover" does not die as a result of their time together.
Is there actually a way for a player to survive?
With a 20 negative level minimum and the save to remove them happening 24 hours later how can anyone survive?
Death ward. prevents Energy drain, and lasts for 1 min per level; I suppose you could try to be clever and do something with contingency, but death ward is probably the most straightforward.
I'd just make them role play their way out of there, and (probably) only just surviving. Not everything has to come down to dice rolls and explicit game mechanics.

I had the character who regularly visits whores and has a whore story for any occasion turn down sex with her. He was under the influence of Owl's Wisdom, so we joked it was like when Belkar in OotS was under Owl's Wisdom and started rethinking his violent ways way earlier in the comic. ;)

This encounter went down pretty much like Sir Galahad and Castle Anthrax in Python's Holy Grail. The party's rogue snuck in to take a look, but with poor will saves didn't stand a chance.
The party had to run in to rescue him whilst he was in the middle of being undressed by Delvahine and her four daughters. After some violence Delvahine teleported out to save herself, leaving two surviving daughters who are distraught at being deserted by their mother and may supply some info to the players if they ask the right questions.
