I'll be playing Carrion Crown two days from now and my GM said that I should Multiclass a class with trapsense since I'm an elven cutpurse who can't disarm magic trap atm.
My GM suggested that I should either try Crypt Breaker or Trapper/Freebooter so what do you guys think of it?
We are playing on 22 point spend so:
If I take Crypt, my final ability points will be:
Str 8
Dex 19
Con 12
Int 18
Wis 10
Cha 7
If I take Trapper/Freeboot, my final ability points will be:
Str 8
Dex 19
Con 12
Int 16
Wis 11
Cha 10
Both Choice will take Point Blank Shot as the first feat atm. All Ability Scores and First Feat are subjected to change, though.
Without knowing carrion crown particularly - darkvision helps stealth a great deal and one of the things a level in cryptbreaker gives you is the ability to give yourself darkvision. Another bonus of cryptbreaker (since you're an elf) is the Blend extract which gives you hide in plain sight; this should be useful indefinitely.
If you're OK with drow ancestry, that's another option for that part, sure. It might well be appropriate to a low-status cutpurse. You can then use the draught for low-light or scent when those might be useful.
