Life oracle taking variant channeling

That.. im not shure if an oracle can take a variant channeling as the clerics.
Any lead?

Well, because the variant channeling is in the clerics page (at least in internet, i dont have the books in paper) maybe it was something unique to that class, also clerics are more close to their gods than other clases, could be that only then can get the power to change that energy.

It's right before the list of variant channeling portfolios: "A character who has the channel energy ability from a class other than cleric may use these variant channeling rules if the class's abilities are tied to serving a deity. For example, paladins can select alternative channeling abilities if they serve a deity, as can oracles with the Life mystery (as they serve many deities), but necromancer wizards cannot."

If your life oracle worships a deity, then they can select a variant channel that matches the deity's portfolio. If the life oracle doesn't worship a deity, then they cannot select a variant channel.
