One of my characters has a Large +1 Keen Adamantine Katana.
What would the HP and Hardness be for such a weapon. I have found threads pointing me to the pages that contains weapon HP/hardness information, but I am unsure if I am doing the math correctly.
Help, advise, a good talking to are all welcomed! Thanks.

If you asked about a longsword, I would say the answer was easy. But a Katana is a hand-and-a-half blade so it's just a little too big to be one-handed and just a little too small to be two-handed. I'm not sure how to balance that, but since I can find it on the one-handed weapon list, I'll treat it as one handed and assume a no-dachi is the correct two-handed version.
After resolving that, the rest is (mostly) easy. The table says a one-handed blade has 10 harndess, 5 HP. It also says to add +2 hardness per +1 and +10 HP per +1. Adamantine says "weapons and armor normally made of steel that are made of adamantine have one-third more hit points than normal.; Hardness 20".
So first I start with the base metal and form, an adamantine Katana. HP: 5 * 1.3333 = 6.6666 HP. I think fractions should be dropped, but in this I'm going to round rather than truncate, so let's call it 7 HP. Hardness is a flat 20.
Now we add the bonuses for the +1, so that means 17 HP (or 16 if you preferred to drop the fraction) and hardness of 22. Keen has no bearing on these values because it's priced as an additional +1 but it's really still just a +1 enhancement, not a +2.
So for me, Hardness 22, HP 9.

1. You say HP 17(16) but then list HP9? Was this a typo?
2. I believe it says that weapons made for larger creatures have 2 times more HP. Would this not increase the HP from 6/7 to 12/14? Then add +10 for the +1 enchantment to make it 22/24 depending if you round up or down?
So, would it be: HP=22(I am going to round down since this is for PFS), Hardness=22

Hit point values for weapons and armor are given for medium creatures. Size large items have twice the hit points and size small have half. I would say that HP modifiers from the +1 enchantment bonus would be added after the multiplier (to include it would be like saying the larger the object, the more potent the magic...which doesn't make much sense to me).
And as DM Blake commented, 'Keen' is an ability and not an enhancement bonus so it does not factor into the calculation.
.
Hardness: 20 + 2 = 22
Adamantine Base (20) + Enhancement Bonus (2) = 22
Hit Points: (5*2) + 10 = 20
One-handed Weapon Base (5) * Size (x2) + Weapon Bonus (10) = 20

Yeah, that was a typo. Dunno where that came from. The line above it was right.
And I also missed the fact that you said it was large, so my base HP should have been doubled. 5*2 (large) *1.3333 (adamantine) + 10 (magic +1) = 23 HP.

This make sense. I just wanted to try and get clarification. Thank You!
