So, I'm running an Iron Gods game and we are short on players so I'll be running a GM-PC. I had an idea for a character build and was wondering about everyone's opinion. I'm going for a major 'rule-of-cool' with this character concept, so I'm not worried about min/max or whether she'd be super effective.
She's an android rogue on the run from the Technic League and the party will most likely meet her shortly after the adventure really kicks off.
She's using the Numerian Scavenger archetype, but will be taking levels in Sorcerer (nanite bloodline ftw) and eventually become a technomage. Now, perusing the sorcerer archetypes the tattooed sorcerer caught my eye, which brings me to the point of this thread...
Would an android tattooed nanite-blooded sorcerer really work out?
I'd figure her circuitry-tattoos would work out thematically with the tattoo familiar and whatnot.
What say the community?

I may enact a GM-fiat whereas whenever she calls forth her familiar or uses one of her tattoo spells, her circuitry-tattoos (since they pretty much become one-in-the-same) glow just as if she were to use her nanite surge ability. I'm a big fan of re-fluffing how abilities looks or act while retaining the mechanical effects of the ability, so having her tattoo familiar emerge from her circuitry-tattoos in a glowing and digitized form before materializing into a solid, corporeal creature fits right in with the concept I'm envisioning.
Also, I was thinking of the petromin as her familiar for a number of reasons. The stealth bonus plus the bioluminescence seems to fit the whole concept of the character (android rogue with glowing circuitry-tattoos). It works doubly-so if I change the color of the petromin's bioluminescence to match the color of the android's circuitry-tattoos.
Another thing I'm hung up on is the campaign trait and starting feat. Numerian Archaeologist fits with her rogue-ish concept, but Against the Technic League fits her on-the-run concept. Scavenger's luck seems like it would compliment the Numerian Archaeologist and Numerian Scavenger archetype, so I may go with that.

In my opinion, if you are going go for Scavenger's luck feat as well as if you are building to be the disable traps style rogue then go with the Numerian Archaeologist.
Unless of course you fight the League a lot (meaning something like every 1-4 fights), then i think the Against the League would fit better.
