Help please

I am trying to create a dex based kukri user we havent rilled stats I can use agile on my weapon we are starting level 8 and i was thinking fighter but id like to here some other options

The easiest way is to go with the unchained rogue as they get dex-to-damage as a class ability. You would just need to grab kukri proficiency somehow. Being a tiefling would be the easiest.

Unchained Rogue taking the Swashbuckler archetype lets you nab proficiency with a single martial weapon, and you can take Combat Trick twice.

Agree with unchained rogue. Another racial option would be to go Half Elf and then pick up the Ancestral Arms alternate racial trait.

Though the best possible option is to be a Hobgoblin with the Unfit alternate racial trait.

Hobgoblins get +2 DEX/+2 CON, darkvision and a racial trait, making them the best Rogue race bar none.

The Unfit trait lets you pick up kukri proficiency and grants a small bonus to social skills.

Add Unchained Rogue and voila!

If you want something with a bit more punch to it, try Slayer 1/Unchained Rogue 4/Slayer X.

Slayer 1st level gives you kukri proficiency, +1 BAB, and extra hit points.

Unchained Rogue 4 gives weapon finesse, DEX to damage, and a nice cluster of useful abilities.

Back to Slayer keeps your BAB strong, the ability to get Power Attack even if you have low STR, a stacking bonus to hit and damage and more useful talents.
