I just started a new RotR game and I'm curious if anyone else has any insight regarding the Kaijitsus, especially Ameiko since she's a major character in another adventure path, apparently.
Basically, I have a character playing a Kitsune character who spends their time in human form, but has the Umbral Unmasking drawback so that their shadow gives them away. While most townspeople who notice might find it weird, concerning, or what have you, they probably don't know about Kitsune, whereas the Tian Kaijitsus probably would.
So, how would the Kaijitsus respond to a kitsune who was new in town and trying to stay hidden?

I think they would react the way that they would react to most PCs, only stronger. Lonjiku would dislike them for their meddling nature and flighty personalities, while Ameiko would probably be predisposed to liking them as fellow free spirits and artists. Even then, I think the only one who would have a reaction based on past experience would be Lonjiku, as Ameiko probably hasn't met one, given that she's spent her life in Avistan.

At best, Ameiko could remember tales told by her old nanny, about those pesky trickster fox-people.
Given the wide variety of strange and curious critters in a fantasy world like Golarion, I would think most people would eventually take seeing a kitsune in stride, after a potentially hostile initial reaction along the lines of "look! a werewolf! hit it with those silver candlesticks!"
