Sounds more like Delta Green at this point...
Honestly, the waiting in the airport wasn't the bad part. I can amuse myself. Plus... booze...
The bad part will be getting into Seattle around 1 am. Sorry in advance, Patrick.
Man CH, that sucks, hope you get there soon.
Pat, hope the pre-PaizoCon experience is going well!
I'll just be here, sitting on the tarmac.
Looks like 8 hours and counting...

Pish. Hopefully I'll still be up partying! Assuming I can find a few buds to drink with

I'm in a weird place where everyone I know is pretty much elsewhere. I want to go have fun, but, drinking by myself is kind of sad.
That's a bummer.
What games are you going to play in this con?

F#!~.
I hate delta.
They are responsible for eliminating my love of flying.

I'm actually in two Planescape ones and Paris is running one for us special. Oh, and I got into the Assimilation Strain tomorrow

F&!~.
I hate delta.
They are responsible for eliminating my love of flying. I don't blame them. Every airline trying to fly out of JFK is having the same problems. It's all weather-related - when flights get canceled or delayed it becomes a domino effect because crews and planes aren't where they need to be.
Right now, all flights are grounded. So it's not like I'd be better off on another airline.
Yeah I saw the weather this morning. I flew out like 30 minutes prior to it hitting. I got hella lucky

OH I love Pierce Brosnan as Bond.
Seriously, I think he was everything that I loved about all of the Bonds, and what I always envisioned Bond could be.
I certainly understand why not everyone would feel that way, but I had always thought he would be a great Bond ever since his 'Remington Steele' TV show.
He just isn't the first face I think of as Bond. ;P
You have wings. Whyntcha just fly there?
I knew I shouldn't have believed them. Back to the gate we go...
Smart money is on this flight being cancelled. If that's the case, I just wish it had been cancelled 9 hours ago.
Good luck, CH. And that does suck big time.
Delta must be run by ex-military - "Hurry up and wait." And no, I'm not trying to be funny.
Celestial Healer wrote: Smart money is on this flight being cancelled. If that's the case, I just wish it had been cancelled 9 hours ago. I can't believe they strung you along like this. Lame squared
Oi! That sucks CH!
So sorry, I hope they clear it up sooner rather than later.
Of course from my trip this year to Sundance I can tell you that they try to never cancel the flight. If they cancel, then they owe you a flight or your money back. If it 'delayed', and you want to get on another plane, (Presuming one is to be had,) then you have to spend more money. :/
At least you will have fun once you get there! :D
<Sends positive waves in CH's direction>
They definitely strung people along. Cancelled 10 hours after it was supposed to depart.
I've rebooked for tomorrow.

Oi Delta, how do I hate thee? Let me count the ways,...
1 hour,
2 hour,
3 hour,...
;P

what gets me is that bond is supposed to be a large, scary looking yet refined fellow. Brosnan is just a fop, and people seem to love their bonds foolish. I love Daniel Craig as he embodies this, although I hate the storylines he has had this far (quantum of solace was truly awful).

Just as they were cancelling the flight last night, I was already on the website looking at rebooking options. Immediately snagged the last seat on a flight this morning to San Francisco. After a brief layover, I have a spot on a flight that gets into Seattle around 4:00.
Fingers crossed!
On the upside, I have my dice this time.
The TSA agent checking bags was going nuts pulling bags out of the scanner (in the pre-check line, mind you), and I was convinced my pouch full of polyhedral dice would do me in. Fortunately, it did not. Maybe she's a gamer and knew exactly what she was looking at...

They're in a thick leather pouch, so now that I think of it, maybe she could only see the pouch and not the contents...
I had to chug coffee since I was driving myself to the airport. That means I'm unlikely to be able to sleep much on the plane. That's a bummer since I only got 4 hours of sleep. I might need a brief nap when I arrive.

I emailed Paizo CS about missing my scheduled events this morning. It's probably not necessary, but no-showing without saying anything seems scummy.
Did I mention I got two PS4's for my birthday?
I guess I should have been more careful about how many people I told that I really wanted a PS4...

Oh man, if I'd known it was your birthday I would've drugged Chris Hemsworth, dressed him up in his Ragnarok gladiator outfit and left him at your place to do as you will.

It's cool, I've got Chris Evans unconscious in my backpack and one chunky and one smooth peanut butter, I couldn't remember which one CH liked. He will be exchanged for the ps4.

CH glad to hear you will at least get out by this afternoon. Todd confirmed our game @8pm tonight v

Think you'd have room for a tiefling gunslinger (musket master)/slayer (sniper)? I don't think that angle has been suited yet but check the Submissions Avatar put together by Gobo Horde. It has all Submissions up to date to double check if someone submitted anything similar. ;-) I'm starting to realize that as of right now, I don't even have time to make a character, much less join another PbP, so I don't think I'm going to be able to play in your Magnificent Seven game. Let me know if anyone drops out, though.

Yeah I need to keep my games to a reasonable level. I'd really like to do a Z-Day reboot, but I'm not taking on any commitments until my job sitch is squared away.
