1/2 hour on bike 1/2 hour on treadmill. Kept pace with mom, but I made sure I was going uphill the whole time.

Loved it. Tomorrow is calisthenics and martial arts.

Have fun, FHDM.

My Memory will be arriving tomorrow or the day after. If I can remember.

So I left at 8 a.m. today for one job, returned home at 4 (forgot my wallet), left for the next job at 4:10, and arrived back home at 10:15 p.m.

When I left for the second job, I happened to look back as the door closed. My dog was standing quietly, watching me leave, with drooping ears and tail. He didn't whine or howl, just watched silently.

So I spent the last half-hour giving him the biggest scruffling, rope-tugging, ear-rubbing, belly-scratching, treat-tossing, couch-cuddling time of his life. He is a happy camper. I've been so wrapped up in my problems, he's barely gotten any attention. But he loves me still.

Dogs are the best.

Yay, dogs!

They are. My two boys put up with a lot of long hours alone. Every moment I'm not working I dedicate to them. Although the situation is suboptimal, a year ago I was looking for a place to live and there was a real chance I wouldn't be able to find a dog-friendly one. So, the fact they have a soft place to sleep and good food and a walk nearly every day makes me happy.

Nice.

I need to get a new desktop rig built for me when my money situation isn't as tight. I really want to consolidate all of my stuff into one memory pool (yes I've heard about cloud storage- I'd prefer to have my own). Plus I'd like to have a fairly quick and up to date graphics/RAM suite. I dont need laptop capability. I already have one, that although elderly could work fine if I ever needed the portability.

Experiencing mild hangoveriness this morning. My hangovers are so random these days. Sometimes nothing, sometimes the horror of pounding head and churning stomach. It's never tied to quantity drunk either. I only got to two drinks last night before I crashed.

The elliptical is staring at me reproachfully.

I need to get moving and get some exercise in. I have a half a shift today. Yay.

I shoot my crossbow at the elliptical.
(I didn't like the way it was looking at the monkey.)

I am home from work and ready to grapple it!

World is saved! The ADVENT is crushed! The Elders were denied their control over humanity...

So I'm three books into the Iron Druid series now, as recommended....

They're taking a 3D X-ray of my head today!

COOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!

They couldn't do it. X-rays wouldn't penetrate.

j/k

Actually radiologist was sick. Something about anemia and hair falling out.

Rescheduled to tomorrow. I am thinking of using the output as input to 3-D printing. A life-size severed head would be a great business card.

Me too! :)

I would be 4, but this week has been a real pain in my patootie. :P

I'd always keep that business card!

Seriously, I have a Pathfinder bottle opener on my keychain. It's soooo handy. Make the zombie you-head have an open mouth for popping off bottle tops and I'm there!

I'm procrastinating again. My head hurts and I'm sick of studying. I had a four-hour CDL permit class, and now I have my Litigation midterm in two hours. So tired of studying...

Maybe a quick nap.

I need to study tho. Obsessive Monkey is obsessive

Definitely. Greatly enjoying it. Very, very Dresden-ish.

P.S.:
Thor is a dick.

Any news from that job?

I'm suffering from an embarrassment of riches at the moment. I have two jobs that want me to be full time along with the per diem job I already have. I think I am going to have to make some hard decisions this upcoming week. I'm just not sure which full-time job would be better

Well, for better or worse the studying is done. It's in the hands of the universe now

Blergh. My brain 'urts

I don't think that one went as well as my Contracts midterm. Still, I should be able to get a B in it.
