I Just let it go on by and blissfully ignore it like i do the evening news.

Work continues to kick my ass. I've been told to delegate. I tried, and now I have a massive f#@*-up to clean up on top of everything else. Yay.
Ouch.
Yeah, I feel you. Seems every time I ask/trust/delegate someone else to do something, I end up having to fix that before I can get on with the pile of work I left for me. ;P

This should cheer you up, CH.
Yeek!
AT least for the most part I am master of my domain at work. I have certain things to do, but I am given a lot of leeway as to how to accomplish them.

Well, my thing has been hammered into shape.
This is why a good editor is worth a pound of gold. My first draft was s~!#e. Not total s!*%e, but there were big hunks stuck to its shoes. Dave was able to give me some good feedback, and the finished product is so much better for being edited thrice.
So hats off to Dave. I'll be posting it on my blog Tuesday along with his inspirational illustration.

One way to deal with these is to talk to the person who screwed up, and ask him how he would fix it. If he doesn't know, or gives a wrong answer (there may be several wrong answers and several right answers) give him explicit instructions how to fix it, and then tell him to go do it. If he screws that up, give him something else off your plate, something simpler, to do while you fix the screw-up. If he can't do anything you might give him, why is he still working there? :-)

Sure thing. I know there was talk of a road trip during our last New York gathering (though I'm not entirely sure that all of us remember the conversation). Plus, if I'm not mistaken, the Lord President Moorluck and the Lady Solnes are moving back to the East Coast as well.

I do remember the discussion. In vague detail

They are moving to Florida. I am not sure if they are as sane as I had thought.

Just make sure I don't drink too much. I have a marked tendency toward "oversharing," and I remember everything.
I'm fairly good at forgetting. Which is good in a way. After my tenth hard cider things were a bit spotty. The waffle joint and the walk to the hotel is quite iffy quality , like an old Super 8 reel that sat too long in a humid basement.

So does anything on the menu interest you?
