Well, things are looking up. I might have a full-time position soon at WHOI! YAY!

~looks at you in shock~ It can't be?!? You must be an imposter! The Patrick Curtin that we know works three jobs and is a robot! Take him apart quick!

WHaaaat? A robot?

Besides, all a full-time position means is vacation and health care. I'll still be working the three jobs. In fact, I might have to work more to PAY for health care, LOL

I'll only have one more shift a week. And that shift will have to be cut from my other job but *shrug* oh well.

Ah well, lackaday .

At the NaNoWriMo kickoff. At about 600 words so far tonight, with 1:10 remaining before they shuffle us out of the AT&T HQ. Hard to type at high velocity with this stupid hand. :(

Oh yeah, I vegged on that. Ah well

Congrats!(?) :)

Oi vay, yes. This. ;P

I myself have only had 1 pay raise in the last 8 years. And that was only because they KNEW that our health insurance was costs were going up.
So not only did my raise NOT cover the increased cost of the plan itself, BUT we also added a ginormous deductible that we had never had before as well. So actually, I took a pay CUT last year. ;P

Still, try going to the doctor without health insurance. :/

I'm not doing nanowrimo, but I am doing a belated Halloween project in another thread that I hope to have finished soon. I'll kick it into overdrive later on tonight, as I am working until late tonight. Not sure if I am going to the gym tonight after all...

OI, I hope to pick back up the dropped thread of my Wizard's Planescape Journal.

So much work to do, so much fun stuff to do,...
Hows a guy supposed to get it all done?!?
;P

I wish I knew ...

I've skated too much on sleep, even for me. I couldn't get up in time today, so I am running late to class. Oh well

You ever been in that situation where you KNEW you had to get up, you were already running super late, yet your body keeps you in a state of paralysis? So frustrating

I hope you get a day to catch up on sleep soon, Patrick. Sounds like you need it desperately.

Thanks. On the rush hour cattle car now. I'm hoping I'm going to miss the worst of the rush hour traffic

Oh boy. Fun times in Woods Hole tonight

Oi yes,

Been there, done that,... :/

I don't know which is worse, That, or waking up, turning off your alarm, then going back to sleep and waking up (much) later with NO recollection of turning off your alarm. And you know for certain that you DID set an alarm, and it MUST have been you that turned it off, and it doesn't matter now because your so late,....

Arrrgh! ;P

Those are the days I call in late so I can take my time getting ready.

Sadly I couldn't call in late to school ...

And the first draft of OS: O is finished. Now waiting for revisions and edits to be made.

Extra innings and now rain delay. Dear god. I'm not going to make it until morning.

Just came into work and the game was on. I'm not a sports guy, but you gotta watch something like this. My God, 6-6 in the 10th.

What game?

I gotta get some homeworks done tonight...

Game 7 World Series of Beisbol

Urgh. A hour or two playing Advent Rising and I am totally nauseous. Outdated 1st/3rd Person Shooter tend to do that to me... But urgh. This one was insidious and is persitent...

So how excited are you, Treppa?

Lo, there do I see my father;
Lo, there do I see my uncle and my grandfather and my cousins;
Lo, there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning.
Lo, they do call to me, they bid me root for the Cubbies so they can finally see a Series win from the halls of Valhalla, where they have been waiting... forever!

There ya go, Dad. <3

Gratz Treppa!

It sounds like it was a good game.

It was a great Series, if you are into sportsball.

And a nice turnaround for 2016. About time.

I'm just happy the curse holds. Now maybe they'll change their damn mascot.

The Cubs? Or Cleveland? I hadn't seen the Indians for years and was shocked and appalled at that awful caricature. It was particularly grotesque against the backdrop of Standing Rock.

Yeah, the Cubs mascot is an adorable cub. No problem there.

as wrong as it is, I love the protest versions of the mascot.

Stare into their phones

Back to work
Back to reality
Back to the fridge patrol again
Show me the lights, decide what you want turned off
Tell me may be
I could do overtime
However do you want me,
However do you need me
How, however do you want me,
However do you need me.
