Can Phantoms Carry Objects through walls?

I know that Phantoms cannot wear armor or wield weapons, and that they can use magic items.

I know that when they are sucked back into your consciousness the items they were holding fall to the ground and need to be retrieved.

My question is, when the Ecto Phantom uses Phase Lurch can he carry an item through the wall? Can the Incorporeal Phantom even carry items?

If he has a magic item will it not pass through with him? If he has a mundane item like a sack of gold can he carry it with him through the wall?

I ask because I was debating giving the Phantom Disable Device as his added skill in order for him to lockpick, doors or desks, but I assume he needs a lockpick. He cannot reach into a chest and grab something because his entire body has to pass through the object, so I was hoping he could carry a lockpick.

I come from 5e D&D so sorry if I seem new, my friend is trying to force me to "graduate" to big boy tabletop RPGS as he puts it.

Nooooo!!! Don't do it! Its a trap! Go back to the safety of 5e before it is too late! Once you get sucked into PF you can never get out. I agreed to play in one campaign and now its been 5 years and my group won't play anything else. I desperately want to switch to 5e but they insist on sticking with PF.

As for your actual rules question I have no clue.

i thought that this was going to be a completely different question where i was going to ask "shouldn't your character be making a will check to disbelieving the phantom into non-existence?".

i would have to say no. it should be knocked from its hand to the floor food it ate should get splattered against the wall. why? well i am thinking along the lines of how is the phantom changing the item so that it can pass through solid items. it seems that a little bit of itself is left behind every time it uses the ability. it rejoins the main mass a minute later. if your phantom can make items ghost touched then yes go ahead.

2.)Can the Incorporeal Phantom even carry items?

that one seems to be a yes. Fully manifested phantoms can use items. except for when its recalled. then it is dropped and you have to fetch it.

3 and 4.) = the ghost touch special weapon quality. except the gold. maybe a ghost touched sack/ pouch.for that. or a ghost touched bag of holding.anything you put into the ghost touched bag of holding would ...... i really don't know.

anyways i am no expert i am just using some of my common sense whats left of it.

ghost touch wand of incorporealness / ghost touch. or ghost touch gloves that impart the the same as the first.
