Actually, can you do an oversized weapon build with this? And then easily grab 2d8 at level 10 as well as 2 handed damage?
This might seem silly, since you could always go with bastard sword, but this has advantages- if you take the diefic obedience feat for pharasma, you can get +2 to dagger weapon attacks. That cancels out the penalty for using an oversized weapon.
So yes- this is my build advice for a vital strike build. Seems silly, but it has its advantages. Mostly because 1 big hit is nicer when you have the x1.5 bonuses.
